Of course.\u00a0 It all about the rub, the wood, the smoke ring, the barbeque competition, bragging rights, etc.\u00a0 So forget all of that for one week.\u00a0 What if you cooked a brisket for 6 hours over low, low heat, like in a slow cooking crock pot.\u00a0 The result is a tender &amp; juicy flavorful hunk of meat, worthy of you trying this simple creation. Your family will love it!<\/p>\n<h2>Ingredients<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>10 Pounds &#8211;\u00a0 Beef brisket, trimmed to approximately 8 pounds<\/li>\n<li>2\/3 Cup &#8211; All Purpose Flour<\/li>\n<li>2 Cups &#8211; Water<\/li>\n<li>2 Medium &#8211;\u00a0 Onions, rough cut<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 Teaspoon &#8211; Smoke Flavored Salt<\/li>\n<li>1 Teaspoon &#8211; Salt<\/li>\n<li>1 Teaspoon &#8211; Ground Pepper<\/li>\n<li>1 Tablespoon &#8211; Lee &amp; Perrin&#8217;s Worcestershire Sauce<\/li>\n<li>2 Each &#8211; Dried Bay Leafs<\/li>\n<li>2 Cloves &#8211;\u00a0 Fresh Garlic, minces, or 1 teaspoon of garlic powder<\/li>\n<li>1 Pound &#8211; Fresh Carrots, rough cut<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 Head &#8211; Fresh Celery, approximately 5 ribs, rough cut<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Preparation<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>Go to early church so you can come home in time to get this thing cooking!<\/li>\n<li>Trim all of the fat from the brisket.<\/li>\n<li>Place meat in large dutch oven.\u00a0 I have used a Magnalite (r) oval Dutch oven, which works great and requires very little heat once it reaches the simmer stage.<\/li>\n<li>Mix the flour and cold water and add it to the pot.
