Yes, it is a bit like <strong>Shake &amp; Bake<\/strong>, but it is from scratch.<\/p>\n<h2>Ingredients<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>6 Pounds &#8211; Fresh Skinless Boneless Chicken Breasts (not frozen)<\/li>\n<li>1 1\/2 Cup &#8211; All-Purpose Flour<\/li>\n<li>2 Teaspoons &#8211; Salt<\/li>\n<li>1 Teaspoon &#8211; Cayenne Pepper<\/li>\n<li>1 Teaspoon &#8211; Finely Ground Black Pepper<\/li>\n<li>2 teaspoon &#8211; Creole Seasoning, like Tony Chachere&#8217;s Original Creole Seasoning<\/li>\n<li>1 Teaspoon &#8211; Garlic Powder<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 Cup &#8211; Salted Butter<\/li>\n<li>1 Each &#8211; Egg<\/li>\n<li>1 Each &#8211; Large Lemon, Juiced<\/li>\n<li>1 Each &#8211; One Gallon Zippered Clear Storage Bag<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Preparation<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>Cover a large cookie sheet with heavy duty aluminum foil.<\/li>\n<li>Grease foil with vegetable oil.<\/li>\n<li>Preheat oven at 425 degrees<\/li>\n<li>Combine Flour, Salt,, Black Pepper, Cayenne Pepper, and Creole Seasoning, and garlic\u00a0   powder in a large zippered bag.<\/li>\n<li>Add the juice of one large lemon to one egg in a bowl approximately 8&#8243; and beat until it is a properly blended.<\/li>\n<li>Coat each chicken breast and add 3 or 4 at a time to the dry mix.<\/li>\n<li>Seal the bag with a little extra air, grab a junior chef, and let them do the <strong>Chicken Dance <\/strong>to coat the chicken with the dry mix!<\/li>\n<li>Repeat until you have placed all the coated chicken breast on the cookie sheet. <a href=\"http:\/\/52sundaydinners.com\/recipes\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/Raw-Chicken.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-2426\" title=\"Raw Chicken\" src=\"http:\/\/52sundaydinners.com\/recipes\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/Raw-Chicken-580x435.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"580\" height=\"435\" srcset=\"http:\/\/52sundaydinners.com\/recipes\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/Raw-Chicken-580x435.jpg 580w, http:\/\/52sundaydinners.com\/recipes\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/Raw-Chicken-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 580px) 100vw, 580px\" \/><\/a><\/li>\n<li>Distribute the butter evenly among the breasts.<\/li>\n<li>Bake on medium rack for 40 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Turn chicken over and cook for an additional 40 minutes, or until golden brown.<\/li>\n<li>Enjoy!<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>This beats deep fat fried chicken any day.\u00a0 The chicken will be juicy and delicious,  and pretty spicy.\u00a0 Slice and serve with rice or potatos.<\/p>\n<h4>Serves\u00a0 8 adults and a bunch of dancing &#8220;chicks&#8221;<\/h4>\n<!-- AddThis Advanced Settings generic via filter on the_content --><!-- AddThis Share Buttons generic via filter on the_content -->","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This is a variation on previous 52SundayDinner where we cooked Jumbo Buffalo Wings.\u00a0 The main difference is that in this recipe we add eggs and lemon juice to thicken the crust.
