Food is Fun.\u00a0 Preparing food is fun.\u00a0 Seeing your family enjoy a meal that you have prepared is … as they say… “priceless.”\u00a0 I am fortunate to have a friend in David Hendley of Maydelle, Texas.\u00a0 David is a Baby Boomer that has spent his entire career creating pottery.\u00a0 He is also a writer and is a frequent lecturer and teacher.\u00a0 He often teaches others how to use their creative skills to create their own masterpieces with clay.<\/p>\n

No Shortcuts<\/h2>\n

Everything at Old Farmhouse Pottery is “old school.”\u00a0 David operates a wood fired kiln and is a one-man shop.\u00a0 His wife Karen helps market the pottey, but everything is “hand-made” by David Hendley’s hands.\u00a0 Nothing is mass produced or mechanized.\u00a0 The quality of his work is awesome.<\/p>\n

David created many of the serving pieces shown on 52SundayDinner.com<\/a><\/em><\/strong>.\u00a0 Each piece he creates is a little unique.\u00a0 Many customers have commissioned him to make complete sets of serving dishes, platters, plates, bowls, coffee mugs, saucers, etc.<\/p>\n

Somehow the food just knows that it is being served-up in specially designed pottery, and it causes it to taste better!\u00a0 David’s creations can be found online at FarmPots.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n
