Several recipes presented at 52SundayDinners.com will call for Italian Seasoning. Everybody that sells spices sells an Italian blend. Unfortunately they almost always fall short. Believe me. I have tried them all.
The best flavored Italian Seasoning I have found is actually made as a dipping mix for dipping bread into. It is made by Dean Jacobs and is available online. Dean Jacobs has 3 other flavors. I have used them all and the Sicilian Blend is the best of the best.
In order to make it finer, and add more flavor, I grind it in a standard pepper grinder. You probably have one in your cabinet or pantry.
