Cinnamon Apples on the Grill

You probably remember apples you cooked at camp.  Apple, RedHots, Foil, Campfire.  This is a variation on the great grill bonus food.

Preparation

  1. Slice Apples from top to bottom.
  2. Remove core.
  3. Continue slicing pattern.
  4. Separate and a liberal amount of ground cinnamon and sugar.
  5. Reassemble and wrap in foil.
  6. Cook with your entree at 300 degrees for 30 – 45 minutes.
  7. Remove and allow package to cool for at least 5 minutes.
  8. Enjoy.

After you cut the apples, let the kids or grandkids prepare and reassemble them.
