Oven Broiled Chicken Breasts

Broiled chicken is healthy and delicious.  There is sometimes resistance to uncommon foods like lamb or duck, but everyone loves chicken.

Ingredients

  • 4 Pounds – FRESH, (not frozen) Chicken Breasts
  • 1/3 Cup – Special Italian Marinating Sauce, also known as Italian Salad Dressing.  The best recipe you’ll find is HERE.

Preparation

  1. Place chicken and Special Italian Marinating Sauce in a Zip-Lock bag and shake well.
  2. Optional Step – Refrigerate up to 24 hours if desired, but this is not necessary.
  3. Place on large cookie sheet or broiling pan covered with heavy duty foil.  It should have a rim.  There will be some liquid produced during cooking.
  4. Broil top of chicken 5″ from heat source, with door opened slightly, for approximately 10 minutes until top surface is golden brown.
  5. Flip over and broil an additional 10 minutes until other surface is golden brown.
  6. Slice on an angle and serve.  Photo shows chicken breast served on a bed of Forbidden Rice, which has a very nice rich nutty flavor.

Add a vegetable and a FRESH GARDEN SALAD and enjoy your family this Sunday.
